چکیده

Detection of H2O2 is important for the applications in environmental protection, pharmaceutical industries, food production, and clinical control. Current colorimetric assay of H2O2 based on enzyme or nanomaterials always needs TMB or other peroxidase substrate as coloration species. Furthermore, the corresponding response time including incubation process is in order of minute. In this study, we report on the synthesis of heavily Ti-doped TiO2 composed of spherelike nanoparticles by pulsed laser ablation method. This TiO2 can directly detect H2O2 without using TMB or any other peroxidase substrate and is free from incubation process. In addition, the detection sensitivity is compatible with or better than that of the natural enzyme or other nanomaterials. Hence, the self-doped TiO2 nanoparticles provide a novel, direct, ultrafast approach for H2O2 assay application.

Facile Fabrication of Boron-Doped Titania Nanopowders by Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Vapor Synthesis Route and its Photocatalytic Activity

The Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Vapor Synthesis (APCVS) route is a process that can be used for the synthesis of doped-nanocrystalline powders with very small crystallite sizes having a narrow particle size distribution and high purity. In this study, APCVS technique was used to prepare boron-doped titania nanopowders. The effects of temperature, borate flow rate and water flow rate on the am...

Characterization of Commercial Ceramic and Hybrid Membranes Using Gas Permeation and Permporometry Tests

The gas separation performance of commercial ceramic Titania and hybrid silica (HybSi®) membranes was assessed using the gas permeation and permporometry methods. Results indicated that the HybSi® membranes have a hybrid surface containing regions covered by a polymeric matrix and others with inorganic pores. These membranes have high H2 selectivity, which incre...
